The BassBloom Roar 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a compact wireless audio device designed for music lovers who want convenient sound, enhanced bass, and portability for everyday entertainment. With a 20W audio output, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and a durable water-resistant design, this speaker is suitable for listening to music at home, during outdoor activities, and while traveling.
Combining JIKE Bass Enhancement technology, colorful RGB lighting, and wireless stereo pairing, the BassBloom Roar 3 offers practical features in a lightweight design. Its carrying strap makes transportation easier, while its rechargeable battery supports extended listening sessions for camping trips, beach outings, picnics, and social gatherings.
Design and Portability
The BassBloom Roar 3 features a compact cylindrical design with a durable exterior and a convenient carrying strap. Weighing approximately 480 grams, it is easy to transport in a backpack or carry by hand.
Its modern design makes it suitable for a variety of environments, including bedrooms, offices, gardens, campsites, and outdoor gatherings. The integrated RGB lighting adds colorful visual effects, creating a more engaging atmosphere when playing music.
The speaker also includes an LED battery display that helps users monitor the remaining charge. Its portable construction makes it a convenient option for people who want to enjoy music in different locations without carrying bulky audio equipment.
Powerful 20W Sound and Enhanced Bass
The BassBloom Roar 3 delivers an advertised 20W audio output through a 52mm speaker driver. It also incorporates dual passive radiators and the manufacturer’s JIKE Bass Enhancement algorithm, designed to strengthen low-frequency output and produce fuller bass.
The speaker is designed to reproduce a range of audio content, including pop, electronic music, hip-hop, acoustic tracks, podcasts, and videos. Its compact audio system aims to balance bass response with vocal clarity for everyday listening.
Two equalizer modes allow users to select between a clearer vocal presentation and a bass-enhanced sound profile. These options provide flexibility for different musical styles and listening preferences.
Bluetooth 5.4 Connectivity
The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.4 to connect wirelessly with compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Once paired, users can stream music from supported applications, online services, and personal audio libraries without requiring a wired connection. The advertised wireless range exceeds 10 meters in suitable conditions, although walls and other obstacles can affect connection performance.
The speaker also includes a 3.5mm AUX input for connecting compatible audio sources through a cable. This provides an alternative listening option for devices that support wired audio output.
IPX6 Water Resistance
The BassBloom Roar 3 features an IPX6 water-resistance rating, meaning it is designed to withstand powerful water jets under specified testing conditions.
This protection makes it suitable for outdoor environments where the speaker may encounter rain, splashes, or accidental spills. It can be a practical companion for camping, picnics, garden parties, and beach activities.
However, IPX6 does not mean the speaker can be submerged in water. Users should avoid immersing it in pools or other bodies of water and ensure the charging port is completely dry before connecting a charging cable.
Long Battery Life
The BassBloom Roar 3 is equipped with a rechargeable 2400mAh battery designed to support extended music playback. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, it provides up to 24 hours of playtime at approximately 50% volume with the RGB lighting switched off.
Actual battery life varies depending on volume, lighting effects, audio content, and wireless connection conditions.
The speaker charges through a USB connection, with a charging time of approximately three hours under specified conditions. Its LED battery display provides a convenient way to check remaining power and plan charging before heading outdoors.
TWS Pairing and RGB Lighting
The BassBloom Roar 3 supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing, allowing two compatible Roar 3 speakers to connect wirelessly for a stereo listening setup. This can create a wider soundstage and help distribute audio across a room or outdoor gathering area.
Its RGB lighting system adds colorful illumination during playback, making the speaker suitable for parties and evening entertainment. Users can select supported lighting effects or switch the lights off to conserve battery power.
The combination of wireless stereo pairing and customizable lighting makes the speaker adaptable to different listening environments.
